scammed by Columbia house

As anyone out there been in a similar situation with Columbia house cd'd or dvd's. I am being sued by them for not paying for cd's that I returned to them. After several attempts to cancel my membership to them. They have sent a collection agency after me for $46.10 bill. I have contacted the club told them I cancelled in December 2006 since then they have sent 3 cd's which as soon as I got them I went right into the post office and sent them back. Problem is I do not have a record to show I sent them back. The post office tells me to ignore them they will just go away. If you or someone you no wants to get involved with Columbia house tell them not to.
