This may sound a little off and you would think with this baby being my 8th I would know....Currently I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I find I am having a really hard time in walking, what I mean is that it feels that I have been riding a horse all day long and to try and walk seems very hard and very very sore. Yesterday I could stand on the one side for it felt as I was going to fall. The baby size is not very big I weight 127 (not sure if this makes any difference) But I was curious if anyone else has gone through this and if you would know what it is I'm experiencing? Thanks in advance for any help

Well, the weight of your uterus might restrict the flow of blood and in return compress some nerves in your legs.Either that or it could be a calcium deficiency. They occur usually when you are asleep in the 2nd and/or 3 trimesters. I suggest you pull your toes towar your knee to stretch the muscles in your calf and also massaging helps. Before bed stretch and release your foot about tem times and check with your doctor to test your calcium level. if your feet swells, slow down on your salt intake and wear hosiery with tight bands. as always, prop your legs up and maybe relax and a warm bath.

Hi!! I went through this feeling about 2 days before I had my baby. My legs got really really sore and then I could not sit properly and it felt like I was sitting on a melon. Your baby is comming VERY SOON!!! Let your doctor and the hospital know what you are going through and they might have you check in just to make sure that you are dialating..:) Have a great day! Congrats!

I remember feeling that way with my last one, it does feel like you have been riding a horse all day long, the other way I used to describe it was it feels like the baby's head is just going to pop out any moment. I am not sure, but I think it is when the baby dropped and that's why it feels like that. I know when I felt like this, there was nothing I could really do about it, I just had to wait for the baby to come out.
