creating web pages

Im in the process of designing my own website. I have it all down on paper of how i would like it to look but i have absolutely no understanding of html or php. I know why its there and what it does I am just unable to write the code myself. Its going to b a site that makes a profit so if anyone has any hints and tips on how to get the job done free i would be extremely grateful. Thanx again.
