I think it's unfair to call Himesh an idiot (poster a couple above me) - he has some talent and he would not be doing so well in the playback and music industry if he had no talent and if his singing voice was not popular. I don't think though that he can be compared to Kishore Kumar who is iconic in his status as one of the most loved singers in the Indian music industry. They are from different generations and their singing style is quite different. Maybe in years to come Himesh will become more and more of a legend but I feel at present he has not reached that level yet. I take it from your post that you are a great fan of both of these singers?

Come on yaar. Don't be so nerd to compare Kishore Kumar with Himesh. How can you call Himesh a great singer in the same sentence with Kishore Kumar? This is absurd.

the topic itself is a daring one...one statement is enough, dont compare classics(kishore kumar) with ordinary stuff (himesh reshamiya)
Kishore's songs are evergreen, ask your heart , will himesh's numbers will remain afresh in our memory even after some 3/5 years?
my answer no!!
