My kittens were born the same day my Dad died

Back when I was 9, my father passed away from alcoholism. When we came home from the hospital in tears, we were left with 5 healthy kittens to enjoy. It helped me to get over my father's death and helped me realize that I could continue on without him and remember him in my heart.

Someone once told me that when a life is taken from us another will come into our life to replace the one we lost. So far in my life it has been true.
