naked again!

Rats. The five year old starts kindegarten in one month! He had gotten in the bad habit of taking all his clothes off when he was put into time-out. His little version of I'll show you, I'm guessing. Anyway, we tried a few new strategies and he hasn't done it any about 3 months. And I'll be darned if the little stinkpot didn't do it again last night! Well enough is enough. I spanked him. Yes I did!. And I told him that from now on if he is in time out and chooses to take off his clothes then I will assume that it is because he WANTS me to spank his naked little bottom!!
Sigh, I'm afraid I'm going to be spending a lot of the next year in the principal's office!!

lol. hopefully the spanking will keep him from doing it again. I hope that you don't have to spend much time in the principals office. my guess is you'll be surprised. most people say how their kids act better in school then they do at home.

yeah thats very true i know this for a fact school is a whole new world for kids. its a different environment. whatever the teachers did in my schools it always worked your occupied at school always something to do work learning etc . i miss high school but college is always more exciting with more to learn. he'll grow out of it good luck

Hmm, You guys have not spoken to my day care have you. "Cause guess what he does there! Arrgh! THis child is my Daddy all over again. Stubborn, smart, talented and grrr aggravating!

My son is 5 years old and takes his clothes off all the time. He didn't do it at all in preschool, but he did at home while he was in preschool but not at school. As a matter of fact, he just walked out of my line of site playing in the yard... so I assume that he's disrobing as I type this.
Now I have to go wrestle him back into his shorts and t-shirt.
