Is there something you buy regularly and how much do you usually pay?

I just bought a pound of catnip. I had been buying oil perfumes to replace what I lost in my housefire. I had also just bought 29 movies as a package deal. Catnip was 11 dollars with shipping perfumes average 5 dollars including shipping the movies were 160 dollars indcluding shipping. about 5.50 each So the deals are to be had with looking and comparing prices and watching the shipping amounts. Good luck with your shopping on Ebay.

I'm sorry to hear about your house fire. Ebay is one way of replacing things at a reasonable price.

I, too, am sorry to hear about your fire. I would never have thought of buying catnip on eBay. What a good idea! Thank you for the suggestion.

After my second and last purchase on ebay...I really don't want to buy anything else! I have bought two things now on ebay but the second item I bought...a Native American Buffalo Bone Choker....they sent me a choker that looked nothing like what was described or pictured on ebay! Well, that is what I wanted! Not the item they decided to send that look far different! So, I don't think I will be buying anything now on ebay.

If it was not as described - or pictured! - then you have every right to return it and Ebay will help you with getting a refund. Inaccurate descriptions are something that they are very keen to eliminate.

I use to shop for old child hood toys that are no longer on the market. I love sharing a piece of my childhood with my children. I don't go over $20.00, that is my limit.

I purchase alot of books on CD. I am very particular about what we listen too but we travel alot so I try to keep several on hand. I have paid as much as $25 for some of the books on CD. I only purchase Good LDS books on CD though. I won one that was not LDS and the language was not acceptable at all. We did not even finish listening to it.

One does have to be careful that things are as described on Ebay. Doesn't LDS have a list of 'approved' books?

I like to buy psychic readings or ebooks. I try to pay as little as possible. I usually pay less that $5.00 for any one thing, I think the most expensive was a $3.99 psychic reading.

I haven't bought anything in awhile there...my very first Item I bought there I remember was the Chronicles of Narnia poster, and paid only ten dollars for when it's normally about $35. I've bought replacement cartridges for my printer at much cheaper than normal. Since I studied a little French I bought the first three Harry Potter books in paperback in the French language--my latest was the extended DVD of The Secret at only ten dollars and haven't regretted it--love it

I regularly buy replacement heads for my electric toothbrush on eBay in order to pay less than 1/3 of what they would cost in a local store. The most expensive thing I ever bought on eBay was a computerized sewing machine. It was such an awesome deal. I had bought one just like it on sale in my town, and then got another one on eBay for $1200 less. It was immaculate and runs beautifully. From now on, I will buy all of my sewing machines there. Most of the things I buy on eBay are less than $30, but I've bought a few PDA's on eBay for around $200 each. The Palm Zire 72 that I take everywhere came from eBay and it has been living in my pocket for about 3 years now and still works fine. If it ever breaks I'm sure I'll buy the replacement on eBay, too.
