I have to admit that skiing looks very exciting and I wish that I could try it. But alas, I am accident prone and not suicidal at the moment, so it might not be a good thing for me to try. It looks as though someone is on a roller coaster, sliding down the snow and that looks like a lot of fun. I have never even been surrounded by snow. Once, I went to see the snow with friends, when I was a teenager. But, we were disappointed to find only very small patches here and there.

I have a hard enough time walking. Sorry that you are not able to ski either.

I live in the mountains and I go skiing fairly regularly. You watch skiing on TV when they are flying down the slopes, it really isn't like that. I hate going fast on my skis, I love to just take my time and enjoy myself. I learned the "pizza" which is where you put the toes of your skis together and have a triangle shape. the bigger the angle of the triangle, the slower you go. You really should try it. You only live once!

I understand that you only live once, but you only die once also. I am accident prone and have asthma, so as much as I would love to get out there and hit the slopes, I just don't know if that would be a good idea for me.

I do not ski but a friend was voted one of the top 100 skiers in the United States. Her and her hubby live in Idaho at a resort that hey manage. She also teaches the snow board. She use to travel to Australia in the summertime to teach skiing and teach at Vail in the winter time. She is such a beautiful young woman and a great skier.

I have never been skiing and I don't plan on it.:P I am accident prone too. I can just imagine going down the slope and not being able to get stopped and crashing into a tree. Ha! I just know that would happen to me. It looks like tons of fun though. My husband says he would like to try it one day. He would be much better at it than me.:)

Now, we have that big mall with skii area where many people, young and adult play. I am quite old to try but you know what I do play the roller blades before and its like skating in the now, it is only on cemented area. How I wish I still can experience skiing.

My father and I used to go cross country skiing across Lake Huron when I was younger, but we haven't skied in years. I have never tried downhill skiing, and I'm just not that interested. My mother has, though, but I haven't.
