How do you surprise your Father?

I just about gave Dad a heart attack. Mom and I had been planning it for weeks. I hadn't seen him for three years, and I had a new little baby that he had never met. But now I was on my way home for the first time in five years. Now Dad's not so easy to surprise. He was forever guessing every gift we got him through the years, and guessing right! I don't remember him ever not figuring out the surprise before we got to enjoy it. But this time we GOT HIM. Even when my uncle called and gave it away, Dad was in such denial that he'd see me again for a long time to come, that he didn't even catch it. So, with my baby in my arms, I ran up the steps, in the door, and into my Father's arms. He sat with his mouth open wide and his eyes glazed over for at least 60 seconds. Then he hugged me close and cried. What a wonderful surprise, and a wonderful visit we had! How about you? Have you ever surprised your Dad?

I can only surprise my father, if can perform his job - catering on my own. Because from the childhood he has been observing all his children and none of them interested in the field of catering.
