please i need help with my sons b-day party

hello everyone my sons birthday is coming at the end of this month and he ask me for a batman cake but red velvet, i search all over on the web and in different local bakeries and i can't find any thing at all i am hoping that some one could recomemd me a web site that i could order with no problem i also need some sugestions on entertaining 20 kids without breaking my wallet please help thanks

Hi,hearty congratulations and best wishes for your son on his birthday but sorry i dont have any idea,ha why dont you order a cake few days before the choice of your son and i hope you would get.

I ment to say,actually where do you reside,which country,place...? Here,iam an Indian and last week we ordered a cake of spiderman on it for our cousins daughter and the bakery is just nearby our place that we stay in. Hope you are from the same country.

oh sweetie no but thanks i live in us and there are a lot of cake that i could buy but he wants velvet but i thank you for trying and by the way i hear india is beautiful can you post a picture

Unfortunately i have no idea :( I have heaps of books here with instructions on all sorts of different styles but there's nothing in there with Batman on it. Maybe you could find a bakery & request they make one - heaps of bakeries will make requests but the fancier it is, the more it'll cost you. Have you thought about making it similar to how he wants it but not exact? Maybe buy a sponge, cut it in the shape of batman's head & then put the red velvet around the edging? It wont be exactly what he wants but it'll look cool anyway & i'm sure he'll be just as happy with it. It also wont cost you a fortune coz you'll have done it yourself & wont have to pay the big bucks for a bakery to custom make one for you. Just a thought, good luck!
