Which is better? Xbox 360? or Playstation 3?

I Badly needed advice, I'll be buying a game console soon but I'm still not sure on which game console is best. i know play station 3 is a great console, but i think Xbox 360 is the same, plus the Xbox 360 is far cheaper than the PS3. so? can you give me advices? for those who already owns PS3 and Xbox360, or for those critics out there. thanks!

Being from the video game industry I will strongly recommend the 360 as of this particular instant, ps3 was released with some of the poorest reviews of any launch system, and when it was shown at our summit meetings sony hadn't even given complete coding packs to developers. WAIT on PS3, no doubt it should rebound, but it needs time.

everlastin_star are you really from the video game industry? wow! i should take your advice. thanks. anyway, what other things makes the 360 better than playstation 3? i believe they have the same graphics right?

Not quite, the ps3 has more potential, up to a teraflop I believe, there is a website comparing the two, somewhere... basically with the release of any new system there has to be an allowance for them to develop the graphics properly. Take PS2 for example, older launch games like crash compared to newer games like God Of War II - they have truly began to use all of the system's ability however many years later...360 sucked at launch too, but through development it is now one of the top selling next gen systems.
