Meteor Garden - from abs cbn to gma

That is why I don't get to watch local channels lately, good thing that we get to enjoy the benefits of watching movies and foreign shows via cable television. But infairness to all, these two local networks are exchanging shows left and right. Not only talents or artists, but also from the "inside," like those producers, writers, directors and technical staffs to topple one another. So I don't worry that much about them pirating shows from one another, as I can recall, it was abs-cbn who started robbing a government network some good telenovela shopws back then. Like RPN9's "marimar," starring Thalia.. The cycle just goes on, to which these two networks can manipulate and to which can bring home the MONEY!;)

i was also shocked with what the GMA did. i think they are not that sesperate... i see it as a part of experimenting if a highly rated show will make their regular viewers satisfied and happy even if it was already shown to the other network. i often watch abs-cbn that GMA but i am not against with each other. they are infact wont compete for bad reason if it wont be started by the viewers it self. i am also had been a fan of meteor and when i saw the meteor garden at GMA i was not sutisfied. i dont like the voices of the characters at GMA maybe because my ears was used to hear different voice on the abs-cbn. hope we wont misinterpret the strategies of GMA or even of ABS. a station is also a business and it needs much much money for them to air good shows. we must also take the consideration that any of them does not air to make people/viewers be depressed or "para mag away-away ang mga FILIPINO"

I don't care much if which channel it is shown I just love Meteor Garden and I think taiwanese drama is in again. Have anyone seen Corner with Love it was indeed a great series and you should watch it. I love Barbie and F4 until now.

I am a ABS baby and I live near ABS for almost 23 years that's why I am true blooded ABS no matter what other say about the company or so and so...and what shocked me is that meteor garden the first ever telenovela that aired in ABS is now in GMA. I don't want to be sound so rude but hey there are lots of telenovela out there why did they not tried to run a unique one and not re run a telenovela that was been identified and tagged from ABS.. does it make sense? nice topic!! good day kabayan!

Ever since I grew I am a ABS CBN viewer! Me too I was shocked when I saw the banner of the meteor garden outside GMA. Well, I heard some comments though that dubbing is not good not like when it was in ABS CBN. Well maybe the GMA is desperate to get higher ratings. Not to mention what they did to the Lupin! OMG! What have they done with it? Seems GMA is really desperate but face it, they are not good anymore especially when it comes to dubbing!

Really? That's a real shock. It was very famous in the Philippines before and we can say that almost everyone, if not all, knows its at ABS-CBN shows. I guess its allowed because ABS-CBN is not the owner of the show but Meteor Garden's company producer or whoever.

Yea GMA is so desperate to get higher ratings too! but they wont for sure, their just copycats and doesnt have originality. One reason why i don't like GMA network.
