How does Paypal work?

I need help. I just signed up for Paypal and I really do not know how I would get paid from it? I opened an online debit card from our bank here in the Philippines. Its a cyber account actually. Please help!

The way I work mine is my Mylot money goes into my Paypal account and I leave it there until I have enough to buy what I want then transfer it to my Bank account..I think Paypal is great, here if you wat til you have $150 before you transfer it to your account it doesn't cost you the $1 fee it normally does...

I am not sure as I got mine when I was buying and selling on Ebay....
