Every time I think I have a handle on my bills they just topple me. I had it set in my head that I was covered for the month... and then I realized I'd forgotten about the cable bill! *smacks forehead*
So, of course, now I'm scrambling to scrape the money together and, as a student, that isn't easy. I know I'll get through it and all but I just don't know how to deal with the stress without... exploding! :(
Can I cry on your shoulder?

Lol…you can’t cry on my shoulder coz I am on the same boat, comrade! Every month I withdraw around Rs. 1700/- from the bank, which I keep at home as extra expenses. These are regular yet unforeseen expenses, which crop up every month. Now, for a middle-class Indian family, Rs. 1700/- is not peanuts (not yet) to be just spent as disposable income. Yet around the end of 2nd week to the beginning of 3rd week, I start feeling the pinch. I open my wardrobe and I am down to my last 500 bucks. I sit on the bed with a dazed look on my face, trying to figure out how and where I spent Rs. 1200/- in just 2 weeks! I cant remember. Some month its my son’s friend’s birthday party, some months its some colleagues farewell at my office, some months we are invited to my husbands colleague’s house and I buy the gift, some month I just feel like having dinner outside…the reasons are far and wide yet very regular in their appearance. No point in maintaining a list of my expenses, I tried that too but just gave it up. Life is so overwhelming indeed!

Ugh, I did the same thing this week. I thought I had everything covered and had a little left over. Yesterday I realized that I forgot a very important bill. I probably could swing it, but then I don't know that I'll have enough left to get through until next payday. I hate it when this happens.
