Do we really need to go to school to be called as a learned people?

I am so tired of going to school. I felt that most of my life was spent in school learning those theories, mathematical equations, articles, etc. which I believe is useless when you are now in the real world. Is learning can be acquire only at school? Is schooling can make as a better person? Do you where else we can gain learnings aside from school?

for me gaining knowledge is a step by step situation. what i mean is it should start from basic to advanced and schooling will lead us to that situation. sometimes its boring, but its future you have to listen, you have to cooperate.just enjoy your school days, spent those days and days well. ;-)
