i agree i like who they got for Luna Lovegood she's good,,. I really like her too.
Some of the chapters in the book were missing but i guess they dont have enough time for those stuff,,

I loved the first two movies because they weren't as dark as the ones now. And I really liked the characters played by children. Richard Harris who played Dumbledore in the first two was the Dumbledore I had imagined he would be. Michael Gambon does not suit that part as well as Richard Harris did with his twinkling eyes and friendly demeanour. Apart from that, I really liked the POA for adding extra scenes that were not there in the book to add sense to the timeturner scenes. That was real good thinking. The fourth and the fifth are about the same... disappointing!!

i thought that the fifth movie was good but i was sorely disappointed by the lack of important details in the movie. i.e. tonks. they only said at one point that her name was nymphadora and that she didnt like that name. there was so much more to her than what they said. and they didnt have ron join quidditch, they didnt have fred, george, and harry get banned, and they screwed up how Dumbledore's Army got found out. my favorite was by far the fourth movie, because, even though it wasnt exact, it was still a good movie, and it stuck closer to the book than either the third or the fifth. and i am totally in love with robert patterson who played cedric diggory. i also like the first one b/c it is so cute when they have the higher pitched voices.

this film was a not as good as the book. many important parts are omitted. and the thing that struck me most was that voldemort was shown to be more powerful than dumbledore where as those who have read the book know that it is not so. and the other thing was that DE and the members of the order were flying around without a broam and any thing. they were shown to fly at wish. that was not necessary.
i like goblet of fire film the best.

Well i haven't seen the movie till now but the trailers were wonderful. I think all of us were waiting to see a actual wizarding fight on the screen. But the responses havn't been that good. All that i have read is that much part of the movie is not linked to the book. Also the acting is poorer than the previous parts. I am hoping to watch the movie next week. Let me preserve rest of my comment for the after movie comment.

i agree as well, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the best among them. I kept on watching that installment over and over and never really get bored with it, unlike the rest. This recent one was too short to even call it a movie, i'm completely lost and everything was summarized, the battle scene was short and they all looked awkward. Well to actually say, i didn't even know Fred and George left for good, it was never a mention in the movie.
Evanna Lynch did a great job portraying her role as Luna Lovegood. Soooo cute!!!
