mobiles are harmfull or not?

I know that every electronic device emits radiation. And radiation is harmful. I remember I read somewhere that russian scientists made an experiment. They but an egg between the speakers of 2 mobile phones. They dialed them. And after 2 hours the egg was boiled!!! I'm not sure if this is true, but if the rates were lower I could have tried it :)
