Have you noticed all the discussions with links to "make money" web sites?

Web site links - Earn money fast at this site!

I realize there is an interest for "making money on the internet" but the amount of links we have here is overwhelming isn't it? Every one of them claims to be the best and we can make the most money on it. Of course this is a great way of getting referrals but how many of these links do you actually click on? My problem is that I'm already a member of most of these sites and I find that very funny. I also think it's funny because they are saying that they pay so much per click or email read and I know better because I've done it. Sure, the sites SAY you can earn .50 but it almost never is the truth. What do you think about all of the links? Do you click on them and join? Are you a member of some of these sites already?

I have learned to never join a site recommended on myLot. The people here seem unusually gullible when it comes to the internet. I just finished a post to a thread where a guy claimed he was getting 20.00 an email. Really, how stupid can you get? I dabbled with a few sites but it seems pretty obvious to me that a real job will pay more in an hour or 2 than PT sites pay in a month or more. Heck, Ill make more money off my garden than someone with 100 referrals will make on any site.

You really hit the nail on the head. How stupid can some people be? And then they wonder why their referrals aren't active. After finding out that their only making pennies an email why would they stay when they were told .50? Not me!

most sites have hard to reach payout levels too , if ever they do pay ! seems like there are a lot of scams out there these days , and more to come i'm sure !

There are so many its overwhelming..I thought that you were not allowed to post links on this site, but I see thousands..I did it once and got a warning and deleted, Why ??? I dont know why...I have asked mylot about this and they have not got back to me ..I have a few sites that I would like to share,I have been with them for years and payouts are very achievable, but I am too scared to put the link in case they delete me..I dont understand why other people are allowed... Sorry but just having one of those days...

I was under the impression that we were only supposed to put links on our profile page. I seriously haven't noticed any discussions with links being deleted.

I have only joined one NEW program that I found here on myLot and the link was on the person's profile page - which IS allowed. If the entire discussion is an attempt to sign people up under the poster - I report it, that is definately "spam". If it is just a discussion about one of the sites; I will sometimes read it to hear what others have to say. I have seen a bunch where someone has joined a new site and is all excited ("made $29 in one day") only to find out in the respsonses that "yes, you made that much your first day"; but, then you make little or nothing after that and the payout is $75; so don't bother wasting your time.

I definitely stay away from sites where the payout is so high that it will take forever to get it. Lots of times the site ends up going down and you lose. I think the way people make that much in a day is that they get $10 for joining!

I basically just ignore them for the most part, ctry, since I have not grasped the reasoning behind these sites. Either I don't care enough or I think it's just too much trouble. I've pretty much lived by the old adage that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I just don't see how they can pay so many people those amounts of money and stay in business. And, to answer your question, I think that many of the people who fall for these schemes are heading for a big fall.

So many people have fallen for these schemes and then go back to the referrer and get mad a them. It's their own fault for falling for as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, I am a member of a lot of sites and they work for me. I think it is worth it for others to place their links so those who really need to make money can do so. Personally I only post links that I have made money with.

It's only natural that people here would be interested in making money on the internet because this is a website that can be used to make money.

That's very true but it's as many have said it's against guidelines to do it the way some do. We are supposed to put the links in our profiles. Not to mention the fact that they are not honest about payment and I know that from experience.

There are way too many discussions either directly promoting a site, or indirectly. It never used to be like this. In just a few shot months that I have been with My Lot, where initially there were no discussions promoting other programs, to now, where about 25% of discussions are promoting othe programs. Whether they are scams or not, I thought My Lot was not supposed to be about promoting your own programs.

I often wonder about these sites. I have had a look at some, but some seem too good to be true. I am in Australia, so a lot dont work here anyway. It is like the ones that offer free ipods or other free stuff like that. I wonder if anyone gets these free things. There is a couple of sites in Australia that i am a member and they pay, but it isnt much at all. Best wishes to you
