Anybody buy a PS3 for the price drop?

On July 12, Sony cut the price on the 60 gb model of ps3 from 599.99 to 499.99. Later that week, Sony announced that they were phasing out the 60 gb model to replace it with a more expensive 80 gb model. Combined with the fact that ps3 sales jumped considerably for several vendors, I immediately bought my ps3 on wal-mart.com (luckily I was able to gain back over 170 dollars thanks to an employee discount and treasure trooper http://www.treasuretrooper.com/270922). I was wondering if anyone else took advantage of the temporary price cut and bought a ps3 for the same reason as I did.
