why is zim so...F***ed up?

i've been living in Zimbabwe for...well my whole life. it's always been a great place the most unbelivible sights animals and cultures are all found in this wonderful country.. now there are other things like corruption...aids...death starvation and a new thing has just cropped up...it's called self implosion this country once had an economy and infrastructure stronger than britain now it's on the verge of collapse...how why? and how can i help to bring it up"out of the muck and mire"?
