What do you do when there's no money!!!

well, there are no 'tricks' to getting out of debt, sorry to say, but there are ways to be frugal and save your money... i know you are going to school, but you might want to consider getting a job for a while and either work p/t while you are in school or drop out... my hubby was off for quite a while and finally got another job...but it pays much less than his old one, so we are in the same boat...we had 3 garage sales to raise money for some summer fun and we take advantage of a lot of free things with our kids and we get our groceries at a discount place... we get phone calls like that, but if you talk to them, tell them the situation and tell them you will pay them, most are understanding...

Thre are rules that debt collecters need to foloow or they lose the debt. If you can get them to break those rules you can get away with not paying. A friend of mine did it. She just said ridiculous things to the people when they called and argued with them and stuff and finally they called my phone pretending to be her relative trying to get information on her from me. By doing that they broke the law, she called a legal firm and called them back with some professional legal stuff to say and they never called again.
