Why is agriculture becoming one of the least preferred job?

Because agriculture sector is not organized, salary is not fixed, work load is not there throughout the year, it is a sesonal occupation, there is no job security, there are no benefits like ESI, PF etc. Besides all these, it is a hard job and has no respect from others.But this trend is going to have a ill effect on agriculture. Agriculturists are finding it hard to find people to work in their fields, and they have to pay exhorbitant price for labourers. This will have effect on the prices.
