We can't let him go. He has been there too long, a world championship 2 penants, how many division titles. Yeah this year is disappointing, but things could turn around, although not likely. If you let someone like Larussa go, who is safe.

LaRussa is a very good manager. He has a proven record throughout his career. His team has suffered some major ijuries and heartbreak this year. I know it's "what have you done lately", but they had the worst record for a World Champ last year and they still managed to win it all. While I hope they don't start a winning streak against my Cubbies this week, they are a seasoned team with Tony. Anything can happen!
I just want your opinion on the All Star game. NL down to their last out, 2 men on base, 3-2 score. Albert is on bench. Why didn't Tony put him in as a pinch hitter? My feeling is, Albert is not having a great season and he didn't want him to, possibly, make the lastout in the game. Albert does often come through in the clutch. The NL really needed his bat. I was baffled about Tony's move. How about you?
PEACE

I was so disappointed Pujols didn't come to the plate. You are right he is having a bad year, for Albert. While I was watching that game my dad and I kept saying, "Pujols will be coming up next, Pujols will be coming up next." I thought for sure he would have pinch hit once the tying run was in scoring position. That is the way I would have if I was manager. I don't have the slightest idea what Larussa was thinking, but I was disappointed.
