An interesting idea for conversation... round robins!

I haven't seen any round robins on myLot, so I would like to begin one. For those of you who do not know--a round robin is an open story where anyone can write a continuation. So I will begin... A LEAK IN THE QUANTUM-PHASE GENERATOR "Do you know what this means?" asked Dr. Thomas Newedison. He had been a part of the National Scientific Commitee of Research and Development for three years but he had never seen anything like this. He was witnessing possibly the most amazing thing in the universe--the Quantum-Phase Generator. He had held strong to the idea ever since his partner--Dr. Figgius Newton--had initially got him interested in the idea. But never had he anticipated something this spectular to occur. Thomas was--by no stretch of the imagination--witnessing the very same proccess through which the universe began. A single particle of matter multiplying itself to form life... the greatest form of life... the universe.
