I also have to agree that it matches and I love using black and red beads in a necklace together too as it is one of my preferred combinations. Red and white fonts on a black background is also used on one of my blogs. You look great on the picture too :)

Hi Sugarfloss :) And yes, it is classic but not many DARE to wear it often, or so it seems :) It seems like most woman would put red or red and black only with evening / official dresses - dont you think? My blog can be found here: www.totally-useless.com And if you want to see a necklace that I made with black and red beads of coral and quartz you can see it on www.thefortunes.marktplaza.nl - it is called: Bacardi Passion :)

I think it totally matches and that red looks great with black and white! The same goes with green or yellow with black and white. That's my opinion, anyway.

I'm not much of a yellow person, either. I don't think I even have anything yellow in my wardrobe haha I feel like yellow makes my face look redder.. I love green though. It's a very flattering color for most people, I think.

I don't think the colors match per se, but the mismatch is what definitely makes it rock! Just a hint of red from those beads and your red lipstick is totally hot! Red shoes would definitely complete the ensemble! :D

hahaha!don't you think red shoes is a bit too much?I was seriously thinking of red shoes but I thought I might overdo it.I wore black shoes instead.

It looks fine to me. But I should warn you I'm a guy and not a very adept one when it comes to fashion. Just occasionaly will I see something I think is great or something I think is terrible. Most of the the time the best I can do is right in the middle. Yours I would say is a little above middle.

me luv it! Like this is how funky my outfit looks today, lol. I have a white tank top with green, orange, yellow & brown polka dots. My bracelets are the colors of the polka dots. I then put it on with white cargo pants and a white soft sweater. To double accessorize it, I added a old stained gold chain with charms and I matched it with goldish shoes with a black heart in the middle, sorta gothicish. To top it off, I have a pirate skull headband and my purse is green like some of my dots. lol, crazy huh, but I got away with it, I've gotten so many compliments, I love it!

You look gorgeous wearing the red beads. It is nice to compare with your fair skin and long hair. It is also matching with your color of lipstick. Nice combination. When you put a black and white dress with low cut like what you are wearing in your avatar, it matches perfectly with your overall looks and presentation. In short, yes, red bead matches a black and white dress.

Red is one of my most favorite colors anyway. But yes, think red beads would be just the right touch with a black and white dress. Good discussion topic, I love to know what others think of different fashions.

Thank you for the compliment. It is a pic of my kitty "Old Yellow", Yellow Kitty for short. He's a very old tomcat that adopted us years ago but he hates to have his picture taken, if the flash goes off, he hisses at us :)

Red beads would go with everything. Red, black and white are universal colors that look good on everyone and go with everything. I think it's always nice to have a splash of color to something that might look too normal, like a black and white dress. The red just makes it pop out and also adds to your personality and says something about it too. It looks great in your picture.

As someone who makes jewelry, I will say that ANYTHING goes with a black & white dress. The only exception would be an off white - unless its ivory (old ivory of course.) Even then its better, if you must wear white beads, to be as close to the white of the dress as possible. So, yes, red goes with black & white.

some bracelets i made - these are just one style i really like
No, not a jeweller, just someone who makes jewelry. I know a lady who used to make gold jewelry with the lost wax method - I did that in high school with silver. I really enjoyed it, but it is expensive, having to get the clay, the kiln, the silver or gold. Heck, the least expensive thing would probably be the blow torch to melt the metal. I put mine together with beads. I'll include a pix that my roomie & I scanned in the computer a few yrs ago of some bracelets I made.

In my opinion , whether red beads matches a black and white dress or depends on who is wearing it and all . In fact in that pic it looks nice n really it matches there

I think its ok as nowadays wearing contrast matches for dresses are in fashion list.If the skirt is of a red colour i think this beads along with black and white dress top will look good.Making some new changes is a new fashion..
