Reading Books A lot Faster?

Hey guys, summer school is here for me and my teacher told us to buy Barnes and Noble Classics. I was assign to Jane Eyre By Charlotte Bronte. I was told to read at least 6 hours a day but i only read like 10 minutes a day. I was wondering how do i read a lot faster? I don't like reading because it's a waste of my time.

You will learn to read with faster with practice, and while I think 6 hours a day is too much, 10 minutes is way too little. Why don't you just read in 2 30 minute blocks of time.
BTW - Reading is not a waste of time, it is a great way to pass time and learn.
