What do you think of Filipinos?

To tell the truth the only contact I have had with Filipinos is picking them up in my taxi. When the cruise ships stop in our drydock for repairs a lot of the staff are Filipinos and I have always found them to be pleasant and polite and an enjoyable trip. Alas that is all the knowledge I have about the people. I find here on mylot that I have the opportunity to meet many more and hopefully get to know the customs and people of the Philippines.
