Colored Playsation 3

It never fails...I wait to buy a new console in hopes that the "updated" version will come out. It doesn't. I buy it. A week later the new version hits the stores. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the "rumored" colored PS3s?

I like the Ps3 but my problem with the game consoles is why not matching up with the numbers of new games that xbox360 is coming up with. I think the organization is falling apart in PS3 camp. you have the price dropping like carzing and the 60 gg didn't do well in the market either. i see a bad future for ps3 until they correct this i will stick to xbox360

you will see in 2008 PS3 console and games sales will pas over the x-box360
with up comming new Rachet and clank game,, Gran Turismo 5 , etc

I never want to think about a colored PS3 coz it looks odd and the silver or Black looks very Sexy

Well, to answer your question there won't be a colored version or a "slim version" coming out soon, but there will be a serious price drop in the new 80 gigabyte ps3. you probably already know, but the 60 gigabyte is no longer being manufactured, but the price has dropped to $500. We can expect the 80Gigabyte ps3 to drop as well around Christmas time, but no news or anything of a updated ps3. There will be a leipzig playstation conference this week, so I'll come back if I find anything.
