Do you have laptop of your own? I have one too. My hubby bought for me to make my works easier. He bought me an Asus brand. He himself has got a Toshiba himself. What brand you have at home?

I have a Packard Bell laptop for home use and a Toshiba for work.
I have found that the battery life on the Toshiba is bette, however in terms of value for Money I would say my Packard Bell. It is very durable and has a large 17" screen, it hals also been very very reliable - so far.
I work in IT support and there are constant issues with the Toshiba's particuluary clashing with Windows updates.

About the battery I dont think all battery can last longer if its old enough. My hubby got a toshiba himself but the battery didnt work longer after a year.
Thanks for your response :D

Its better to have laptop with cam. It will be easier coz all included in one. You dont have to take it seperately and dont have to plug it whenever you want to use it. I didnt think about that when I bought mine. Lucky you.... :D

I don't have a laptop yet. i've always wanted one though. It would be nice to have one with wireless internet. That way I could take the kids outside to play or to the playground, and while they are playing, i could be on mylot earning money lol. i hear toshiba is a good brand. i've always thought the apple ones were neat and colorful, but i'm not familiar with the operating system on those.

WLAN is provided by most laptop nowadays. And yes Toshiba is such a good brand. But if thinking that taking it out with you and putting on your lap, I think you can think about Sony. I heard from my brother that Sony is made of aluminium so it wont get hot so easily. But its kinda expensive.
