When u buy something do u go for the established brand or just judge the quality

Hi cmsk I love to shop and Im always looking for the best price. I will go to different stores till I find a good price. My husband thinks Im crazy. but I dont care. Why spend more for something when you can get it a lower price. Right? It doesnt matter to me what the brand is.

Hello cmsk2005, For me, the most important is the quality. I don't go for branded items. As long as the quality is good, I am willing to pay the price but definitely it has a limit for that. If I can get a better quality with a cheaper price, I will definitely the happiest person in this world *smile* I always wait for the sales to come so that I could spend more and save more at the same time. During sales, I can get the same item for half the normal price and it is really a good bargain.

Some things I buy brand name, some generic/store brand. When I buy canned or frozen veggies, I can't tell one bit of difference between the taste of either, so I figure why pay the inflated prices for the name brand?! Noodles are the same: noodles are noodles in my book, lol. I've never had any generic ones that didn't taste as good as the brand name ones. I save a lot of money by not being a brand name slave.

It depends on the item I'm buying. There are some branded items that priced ridiculously high and I never give it a second look. I prefer the more affordable one and yet have good quality. I do bargain for good things but most shopping malls don't allow it.

I am like you I will buy cheaper brands and try them out but if I don't think the quality is good enough I won't buy it again but I keep trying the alternatives! xxx

i judge the quality. that's very important for me. somtimes when you buy brand clothes the quality isn't that good... that's why i look at the quality of clothes. but if it is of good quality and it is a brand i'll buy it...

It's a matter of personal choice but generally I think if you are prepared to pay a little more for a better brand product you get better quality. Some non-brand names can be okay but I usually spend more time reading the labels on them than I do on a known and trusted brand.
