I went from downloading 2.9 Mb/s to 15.23 Mb/s
1. Download TCP optimizer from:
http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php
2. Run the program and backup your settings File Backup current settings
Then change the top bar to your maximum download speed and on the bottom click "Optimal settings"
3. Click apply changes and OK, and restart your computer.
IF THE RESULT IS BAD, open the program and click File Resore backed up settings or restore windows default settings

no payment when you download the software. not like others, that you'll be downloading just part of the software and after scanning to correct errors, you'll be asked to pay for the complete software. is this really FREE???

That is how most of these software work and how most spy and spamware get in a computer. Your best bet is to contact your ISP and see of they offer software to tweek your internet settings. I never trust anything that say free to download. I know with like Windows Vista some software tries to change settings that makes your computer crash. Or you cant uninstall the "freeware".

Looks like something interesting. Let me have a look and see i f this can really increase the download and the upload speed. I have one another doubt regarding this. I use my laptop to connect to my Wi-Fi network at home and the LAN at the office. Do I need to optimize the settings every time I connect to different networks ?
