I have been occasionally suffering from hyper acidity. I was advised not to drink dark colored drinks and eat dark colored foods. How true is this? Medical backgrounds? Also, are there ways or methods or perhaps practices to be observed in times when sudden hunger is felt? I mean, in this occasion, are there any prescribed foods to be taken first before other kinds that might trigger hyper acidity?

Hmm Hyperacidity..can be trigger easily. as one of my friend told me who is a doctor. once you have hyperacidity, you will remain acidic, the only wayt to easily recover from this is limit yourself in taking all drinks that can trigger, several is ice tea, alcholic beverages..That is life you have to follow the rule so that you can recover from sickness.Drinking some medicine for hyperacidity doesnt cure it just prevent the hurt you feel.

try rice coffee , it is good for hyperacidity . It is a healthful alternative drink, it remedies gas pain, ulcer and liver problems.
and don't lie down or sleep when your stomach is full.

I also sufferered hyperacidity. My friend advised me to take lots of water and juices and avoid oily foods. I tried it and it works. Why not try it yourself. It might work on you too. Good luck...
