We all have them. I have several. I get very irritated(inside)whenever I'm talking to someone and then someone else comes along, without excusing themselves, and interupts my conversation.I also think that it is very rude for the person with whom I was having the conversation with to start with, not to say to the othe person something like... Just a minute,I'll be right with you. What is one of your pet peeves. If you have more than one, let us know...

rudeness and lack of compassion are my #1 pet peeves. I am a very laid back person for the most part but I really have no tolerance for rude people or those that are oblivious to the feelings of others. I don't have to be their target and most of the time I am not..I see it and I get very preturbed.

I have one pet peeve. Some friends' house phone have a 'call waiting' feature and so sometimes when I am chatting with them, someone else calls so they ask me to wait a while as they need to answer the other call. At times, they completely forget that I am on the other line and just carry on talking to the other caller, unfortunately keeping me waiting for a long while. One friend even said that she thought I would just put down the phone in any case if I had to wait too long so there's no need for her to ask the other caller to wait to tell me that first.

People who interupt a conversation of course.
Also, feet on the coffee table or the dining room table makes me extremely mad. Hair brushes, combs, and hair ties on the table bother me too. My daughter always throws those things on the table in the morning at it irritates me so much.
People who lie or tell stories really makes me mad. I have a sister who constanly lies and tells wtories that aren't true. I can barely stand to be around her anymore.

Wow, you sure have a lot of pet peeves. I bet your daughter knows that you get irritated whenever she throws those items on the table and thats why she does it. Maybe she is just trying to tell you to not fret over the little things. Don't know...just a thought.
