I lost my pup this week

For some reason people around here are loosing their dogs to the same type of illness thing is thier isnt enough time to get them to the vet they die quickly upon becoming sick with in 12 hours usualy I am suspecting someone is poisoning them thru the night with antifreeze unfortunatly we dont have the money for an autopsy no one around her has alot of money but we love our animals the same on all of them they start out with no appitite and with in a few hours the vomit diariah and a few hours later they are dead wondering if anyone else is having this happen around them I am concered because I habe 2 other dogs but we are all afraid to even let them outside unattended right now Ant suggestions on what it can be my dogs have all thier shots and the others did also

I would contact your local animal control and see if they have any information or are interested in investigating. If it is a case of poisoning, they need to investigate for animal cruelty. If its some type of disease, you may need to contact the health department to have them look into it. Some animal diseases can cross over to humans. Either way, if its happening a lot, someone should be checking it out! Side note - the examination of an animal is a necropsy; autopsy is for humans.

I forgot to say how sorry I am for your loss. Pets are part of the family, and losing one is always hard.

i am so sorry for your lose. i completely agree with DJ9020 this deffinately needs looking into for your other dogs sake.

I contacted the investigter for around her and found out there is now a total of 5 dogs reported with the antifreeze poisoning they are investigating it and trying to catch whopever is doing it but well thats going to be hard we are just all keeping an eye out for now
