Chewing your food

....me? it went to left side. It will never change because my left molar and premolar teeth had gone...gone forever and will never make come back unless I spend my money to dentist for an imitation tooth's replacement.

i just realise it now that i have read your discussion and yes i do chew food to at the left side of my mouth. docotrs say we have to chew on both side but i think once you egt use to it, its a habit hard to break.

It's been a habit forming to do a thing or two everyday. I never knew I chew the food I eat on one side of my mouth. Now, I noticed it's always on my right side. I think we better change that mode because some teeth might have been tired of chewing the food there.

I chew on the left because I have a broken bottom tooth on the right, and I don't want to break it anymore. I have done it for about a year now and it is habit.

I'm a very methodical eater. If I'm eating just one thing, I will chew the first bite on the right side the next on the left and then back to the right and I will try to end on the left. If I am eating a mixture of items like a meal then I will start on the right and chew what I choose as the first item on the right and then sequence through the other items, sometimes one at a time and some times I like to mix a bite like a corn chip with a bite of a sandwich, chewing on the right and then start over chewing on the left and again trying to end the whole meal on the left.

i chew on the left side too. but sometimes when i get a toothache on that side i try to chew on the right. but it's really difficult cause it keeps coming back to the left.
