hi! i had that book too! my godmother gave it to me as a birthday present last year! i really enjoyed it and realized too many things from it. it truly will help you know your purpose in life.

My younger son has this book. He finds it very good. I read it, but I do not need it as my purpose in life is following Christ and doing HIS WILL and living a life pleasing to HIM. However for those not decided or wavering, this book has quite good ideas. You do not get by by swinging from opinion to opinion.

The Purpose Driven Life is a good book for people who are still doubting whether to accept Christ, for newly converted Christians and for Christians that limited themselves to be "Sunday-Service-Christians". It's a very fine starter book but we must beware to make a parallel Bible of it.
For those who would like to go a little bit deeper without having to study theology, I recommand the books of John Stott (look at Amazon).
