I heard about the disease known as "Rabies". But as far as I know that disease spread through dogs. But I want to know is there any possibility of any diseases through Guinea Pig to human beings or even any chance of Guinea Pig itself infected? Any one want to recommend about the Guinea Pig also welcome.

You probably won't get rabies from a guinea pig. You'd be more likely to get it from a raccoon, squirrel, or even a cow (okay, only if you stuck your hand in a rabid cow's mouth). However, as far as zoonotic diseases go, you could get ringworm as that'd be the same for you and them. To learn more about guinea pigs, see www.guinealynx.info

ANY mammal can get rabies..including humans and guinea pigs. however guinea pigs almost never have rabies. other diseases/parasites that guinea pigs can get are; Mange-parasitic disease that affects the skin. Ringworm-skin parasite causes skin irritation and hair loss around the head, neck and nose. Lice-skin parasite that lives by biting and sucking blood. Ciccodioses-liver and intestinal disease caused by a single celled parasite. Scurvy (Vitamin C Deficiency) Guinea pigs bodies do not produce vitamin C and therefore must consume an adequate supply. Cancer is rare among guinea pigs. The most common bacterial diseases in pet guinea pigs is Pneumonia. This info found at: http://www.simplepetcare.com/pet-diseases/8/GUINEA-PIG/ which also has a more detailed explanation of each of the above items. here is a link to a site that has some great info on the keeping of guinea pigs as pets; http://www.2ndchance.info/guineapigcare.htm
