Help! I need your opinion about this?

Is it safe to take medicine (paracetamol) if you have your monthly mens. period?Coz as of this moment im suffering for a headache, muscle pain and so many pain,hahaha. In short im not feeling well, am dizzy. Maybe i have a flu, but im skeptical in taking medicine, that it may affect my monthly period or any other side effects.
Do share your thought about this matter. Thank you in advance...

Hello archer. I think paracetamol is safe enough to take during our monthly visitor. Try to see if you're going down with a flu and colds. A soothing chamomile tea taken two to three times a day will also be helpful.
I don't normally have this kind of pain since I'm always taking my regular supplement. Try taking evening primrose oil. It is a very good supplement to balance our hormones.

LOL, archer, so you have no knowledge of what happened to me recently. That's all history now. You can buy EFAMOL at any mercury outlet. But I'm taking the one at Healthy Options. I always buy my supplements there since it is cheaper and suitable for my allergies. :)

Oh thank you very much! I think i have to take it now before i suffer too much pain. I have a migraine also but im dont have an allergic reaction in any medicine. :)

it's okay to take medicine while having your monthly period.. i'm just thankful, i didn't experienced feeling not well while in my monthly period.. anyway, it would be better for you if you take medicine now for you to feel comfortable...

i always feel this way whenever i have my monthly period, always feelin like i have a flu, maybe this also a cause of my period. thanks

It is ok taking paracetamol when monthly period is still going. It is safe as long you are not pregnant LOL; and if you are not allegic to that kind of med. :)

I dont have any allergic reaction with the medicine, maybe I have to take paracetamol during my monthly period coz Im suffering for headache always when my period is coming.. thanks for giving me good ideas.

you can take Paracetamol (acetaminophen) for the pain during your period. it wont affect your period in any way..other than to hopefully get rid of the headache and cramps.
in fact the main active ingredient in Midol (a product made specifically for PMS and menstrual cramping etc) is Acetaminophen 500mg.

Thank you very much. Actually i dont feel cramps during my period this is the pain that im suffering monthly whenever i have my period i feel like i am sick all my body parts are aching.

I think that will be ok archer unless your not allergic to anything. I use advil when i get serious period pains. I don't know what it is but mine seem to get worse every month since havying my son 5 years ago.

I dont have any allergic reaction in any medicine, im just hesitant taking pain reliever thinking that it may affect my period, but knowing it is safe to take from all of you here i will than to suffer from pain.thanks a lot

I always take Tylenol, Advil, Ibuprofen, Midol.... whatever I have available lol when I have my period. It's perfectly fine as long as you don't take too many!

I'm not pretty sure if it's safe but personally, i do take pain reliever meds whenever i'm menstruating because i'm suferring from dysmenorrhea. But i havent experince any side effects yet. With regards to paracetamol, i think it's just ok to take them but i guess the best way to figure out the reasons behind your headache,muscle pain etc. is to consult your doctor. I think that would be of great help. I hope I have enlightened you.
