What do you do on your most boring days?

What do you do on your most boring days, ok lets say you have cleaned your house and nothing really to do.. Do you go outside and enjoy the weather? Do you come to mylot and post and reply to people? Do you work on your websites your members of? What is it that you do to keep yourself from being extreamly bored?
On my most boring days I do come to mylot and look around and post and reply to people.. like today.. I do also work on some of my ptc's sites to make some cash. and sometimes I even sneak out for a bit to enjoy the nice weather we are usally having..

hellow wisconsin......nice to know about U. In my most boring day, i have writed my novel, and in spare time i also write. everytime in my life i use to writing. Coz i can miss my problem and i enjoy to do it.

so, wisconsin, you are one of us now... myLot addicts. hehe. been here in myLot for almost 11 months, barely a year but still, i am a myLot addict. hehe.
anyway, tute_cute, i wish i could start writing my own novel, too. but i think i really can't do it. i don't have really good ideas about it. so, i guess i will just wait for your novel and wisconsin's, too to finish. i'll be the first one to read them. hehe. that's how lazy i am when it comes to writing novels... anne

Nice to meet you too tute_cute, thats a great idea actually writing a novel. I don't know though if I'd ever be able to finish it being so addicted to mylot lol but I think I'd be able to in the times I am extreamly bored.. Thank you so much for your reply!

I don't know I just really like it here compare to other places I've been online, Here at least we are able to express our feelings about things and get paid for doing it.. Yeah i am a addict I try very hard very day to reply to as much as I can here but really to only the ones that interest me or what would be the sense.. Have a Great Day!

Nangel at least you can get out and do things it's nice to see people having a full schedule much less boring that's for sure. Anything is better than sitting around at home and doing a whole lot of nothing at times.. Thanks for your reply!

On my most boring days, I usually sleep as much as I can. Then after I am over with it, I try to cook up something nice and hot to perk up my gradually depressing mood. I may watch TV for sometime or listen to the radio. I may even read a book or magazines. If nothing else works, I feel like taking a tram journey. I would just board the tram from one depot, go to the other depot and then come back the same way. The entire journey would take around an hour and at the end of it, I would be suitable invigorated but not tired either. I may also eat something and do some window-shopping on the way.

I try to sleep as well but have a 8 year old running around it's kind of hard to do, mainly when he isn't even tired.. I love listening to music and the radio I sing to it too ha ha.. I have an ok voice i guess but others that have heard me say they love it, ha ha I think different of course.. Thanks for your reply and have a great day!

Even I have an 8yr old, but caring for him day-in and day-out tires me out and also bores me. I would love to spend sometime with myself (don’t’ know if I am being selfish) but that’s life for us moms now, can’t be helped. Thanks for your response!

I have done that too, I have a friend in another state I'd call up and see what he's up too, I love conversation at least he and I have something to talk about some people though don't have anything to say and that tends to be extreamly boring! thanks for the reply and have a great day!

Well if my house was all cleaned and laundry all done, I would go to mylot, get on the intranet, talk on the phone, or go get in my pool. I used to go for drives in the country, but with gas being so expensive I can hardly afford to drive to work.
That is really about it. I don't have many boring days, there is always something to do at my house.

I know about the gas prices unreal isn't it.. Geesh people can't even afford to do anything anymore better off staying off the roads save alot more gas.. I think my mom has put well over 100.00 in her tank sense the prices went up I'm talking in a weeks time.. I keep telling her to stay home and find something to do but she won't listen lol... the rest of the things you do is almost like what I do too.. mainly when days feel long and boring.. I always check my mail. Then log on to Mylot. Then I read for awhile, I am reading Debbie Macomber books. If I really can't stand it anymore I go get my grandsons and we walk to the park, or go to McDonalds. Sometimes we just go for a drive to get some fresh air..

I wish i was able to walk to the park but I live a distance.. I kinda live in the sticks but do have neighbors kinda close by.. I sometimes just go and take a nap to rest my eyes too, or go off and find something most of the time just go sit in the shade outside.. Thank you for your reply!

ha maybe she's my neighbor... joking.. but that really sounds like me unreal though.. and your very right there are no jobs here. You need to go to the bigger cities to really find anything.. I sometimes wish I lived in a bigger town, and yes it is very cold here in the winter as well.

I grew up in the sticks in a small town in Wisconsin. I loved the woods and if I have my own home someday, that is where I would like to be. I did live in Arizona for 11 years and have lived here in PA for 13 years. I am ready for a change though. My kids live here and I have my grandsons here too so moving far away isn't going to happen right now. Not really sure I want to move far away, I was thinking warmer weather. My sister wants me to move back to WI. but it is too cold for my husband. All of my family live in WI. I was just there last Sept. to visit. My one sister lives in a town that has maybe a dozen families. She drives 45 minutes away to buy groceries. She works about 20 minutes from her home. There aren't many jobs there either. It wouldn't pay for you to get a sitter, and gas is too expensive.

i am a homeperson. meaning, even in my most boring moments, i prefer to stay at home unless i really need to go out. usually, i go to myLot and read some new discussions and post some responses. i really have fun here. learning new things, meeting people and getting others' ideas. really great.
sometimes, i sit on the sofa and watch films. pretty good, too.
and there are moments when there are nothing more to do except to take naps. so, i just go to bed and take my nap. and i feel better after... anne

I totally agree with you on learning new things, I made a post the other day and a lady knew so much I was really amazed and she did such a wonderful job on it. I had a bat problem and wow like I said I was so amazed how she knew so much. I do take naps as well Just because I am so tired of being bored.. Or watch some tv but it got to be a good one like you say. Thanks for your post and have a wonderful day!

Sometimes I find myself just sitting online all day, and that's really a bad idea. Today, I actually pulled myself away from the net for a bit and I've been doing some things that I need to do, because it just needs done. So, whenever I'm really bored, I spend time online, I watch tv or I find some other way to kill time, which is often pretty hard to do, considering there isn't much to do around here.

I know the feeling all to well, I live in a town with hardly anything to do, Yeah we have bars and things but that doesn't interest me, those are boring too, you go to them and all the men do is hit on ya and you tell them to go away they sometimes don't know what that means. lol Sometimes the tv can be just as boring though I do have direct tv and I get bored of watching that too unless it's something that interests me but it has to be something really good.. When im bored and I cant go out and do anything and I dont have work that day I would post on mylot untill I get bored of posting because after an hour or two of posting I usually get bored because I replied to all of the topics already lol I would play videogames then after that I would read the book im reading for an hour or two and thats pretty much what I do on boring days.

that sounds kinda boring in itself though, but reading a book doesn't sound to boring as long as it's a good book.. My husband keeps saying here read these. dungeon and dragon ones, I look at him like oh yeah I got alot of interest in that... NOT.. I do get bored very easy thats for sure. Rather it's cleaning, being online chatting (unless it's a good conversation) or even reading sometimes... Thanks for your reply!

Going to the mall sounds like a great idea, I can't remember the last time I've been at one, it's been so long. I do have to travel an hour though to my closets one. I know I live in the boonies.. Thanks for your reply!

Hi,
On boring days I always come to MyLot and check out the idscussions and usually start some of my own. When you really get into it that can take the whole day! Something else I like to do is to read a good book in a nice quiet area. In fact I cannot wait to get my hands on the new Harry Potter book!

Yes thats been happening to me for the last few days I just do some searching on the site and it does keep me pretty busy replying to people. Sometimes though that can bore you too.. Well regardless of what type of day it is, I always enjoy surfing the Internet. I also enjoy watching anime, movies, or TV shows. I am not really one for reality or sitcom shows. I also like to play games on the computer and consoles as well. There are many other things I could be doing, those for now, I'd rather not spend too much money until I have a lot of money and my activities of choice are low costing ones. Of course I always attempt to have fun in what I am doing.

I don't really like the reality or sitcoms either, theirs just something about them. You know my son has a gamecube system I have never played I think if and when I am to the extreamly boring part of the day I could try and play one of those. He tends to have fun with them so I think I could too. Thank you for your reply!

On the boring days,i usually watch TV,reading ,and come to mylot and myhome and talk to my friends.but sometimes i make SP and make up .i don't like go outside ,it's so hot with the weather ,if i go outside ,i just go to the bookshop .so it's my boring days .

I love being outside even if it is hot, I'd sit under the shade which is alot cooler for me anyway.. Today though it's pretty cool in my house but the outside is hot... Ishy! lol Thanks for replying!

I do this and that. Usually you can find me here on my computer doing the point & survey sites or do...or here at MyLot. I also play quite a bit of games online, so I do that quite a bit as well. Otherwise (beside the computer stuff lol) you can find me reading, watching Tv and/or movies, sometimes we'll go outside and play in the pool or go for a drive (which is rare).

i've tried doing those survey sites but I never get any so I gave up on them. I do alot on my lot replying and posting, that does keep me busy.. I do have a pogo account but never seem to go on it because I'm normally here.. But I do like being outside too mainly on nice days! Thanks for your reply!

I have signed up at a few survey sites and nothing I simply give up.. I don't lie on my profiles or anything like that so that could be a reason why I don't get any. People tend to do that to get surveys but I won't and yes pogo is a great site for games.. Thanks for your reply!

Survey sites do pay and do give surveys, sometimes you just got to wait. There are qutie a few good ones out there.

Hmm, lets see on boring days (which is everyday at work I am a student assistant/secretary) I usually talk to my friends online for awhile. Then I spend some time reading. When I get off of work I have awhile in the afternoon to go out and sit beside the pool. I go to the gym then I come home and eat dinner and hang out with my roommates until bed. Most days I clean a little as well (do laundry, etc.) and I always play with my cat. I also work on my blog and visit mylot a good bit.

That sounds like a full day.. If i had a pool i think I'd go out and sit in it for awhile and soak up some sun. Never hurts to do that. Maybe starting next week I will be able too once I'm the medication I'm on from my deer tick bit I had a few weeks ago.. Lucky for me I just got sick and nothing else like the lymes disease they carry.. Thanks for the reply and have a wonderful day!

On really boring days I tend to watch films, I have hundreds of DVDs, quite a few HD DVDs now too. I also download a lot of films, I have a few hundred which I downloaded. If I'm not in the mood for films I will go to the pub or something, either on my own, or with friends if thy want to go to. :)

Oh that's not good.. Have no worries I have am not going to do it if I'm going to get into trouble and umm you shouldn't of said anything either, I wouldn't want to see you get into trouble either, but that you for your reply..
