I'm just wondering what other people think about what is currently going on in Portugal with regard to Madeleine. We keep getting told that investigations have reached 'critical' stage. Does anybody know what this means.

I can't remember exactly how long ago it was that Madeleine disappeared, but I believe when they say "critical stage", it means that the odds of finding her are very slim. As a mother, I find this very troubling, I can't imagine what her family is going through.
