A Bittersweet End

As I sit waiting for the final harry potter book to arrive, I find myself both excited with anticipation, and yet dreading the end. Since I first picked up the Sorcerer's Stone, similar to a child's anticipation the night before Christmas, I found myself not able to put the book down. Even once it was finished, the feeling still resided as I waited for the next adventure. With every new addition to the series, a child has reawakened in me. And now I fear with this final book this child will make its last appearance. I can only hope that the story ends with complete closure, and that the child within will disappear satisfied.
