I am wondering what your thoughts are on Plastic Surgeries abroad. While ths topic has been exploding lately I feel like it's been a little one sided. I have been looking into it. Before anyone gets heated let me say this the Dr. I have chosen is Board Certified in Mexico, Argentina and THE US and has a practice in Southern California as well as Mexico. The reason so many people are leaving the US to have surgeries (even besides Plastics) is the Dr's in the US and UK are the top 2 most expensive places to IN THE WORLD to go for health care. Due to overhead and the gastly insurance they have to carry so if you do your homework, and I MEAN LOADS of it, and speak to other patients along with seeing pictures I think that you should have no problem having Plastic Surgery abroad!! By the way the Dr. I have chosen was named one of the leading Plastic Surgeons in the world!! Woo Hoo!
Here's another think we can look at all these celebs having OBVIOUS things done and come out looking LESS THAN GLAMMED... Britt and her new lumpy tummy (yeah I'm sure she was really into REHAB at promises more like lipo recovery) haha, Tara Ried and her BAD b**b job, and these people are paying TOP DOLLAR IN no where wlse but Beverly Hills. Just my 2 cents. :)

It depends on the country and the reputation of the particular doctor that you are visiting. There are some countries that are quite well known in this particular area. Countries such as Korea and Thailand are two that I've heard good comments about. THere is a lot of research to be done before you decide on going overseas for such operations. For example, you can quite rest assured on the medical expertise for countries such as Korea and Singapore. I'm not too sure about Thailand but I've heard many people flock there to do it because its really cheap.
