There is a coworker of mine who is always cracking her back. I mean its to the point it sounds like she is farting! Is this healthy. I can only imagine the arthritis she is going to have as a elderly women! What do you think? Do you crack your back? Is there anything else you would crack?

I to say that it is hard to answer this question. When you pop your joints you release poisons and gasses into your blood. It is a great idea to drink alot of water to flush your system. I would rather see you goto a doctor for that as they know how to do it without the risk of hurting yourself. Granted that everything you or a doctor comes with a risk, but with a doctor for the most part can fix it. I have a bad back and I have been seeing the same doctor for years. Nothing like the feeling after a good ajustment. You can reduse the risk of arthritis by taking in lots and lots of water after and ajustment. I would not say it is good to pop your fingers.

Yes james you're absolutely right and boy do I love those adjustments my chiro does. I just lay there and let her do the rest. And indeed it's air that releases from your bones. As soon as I'm done from my session I walk out of her office feeling like I'm walking on clouds as if I am just floating.

Yah, I know. It feels so good after being tied up in a knott once a week and then sitting in the hottub after. So much stress just gose away. My body feels clean. I feel so much taller.

I too play the pull my finger but that is to make my brothers kids freak out. It is ok to have your back ajusted, but it would be better if you have a doctor do it. You can do some real damage otherwise.
