Hi there, i am currently going through IVF treatment with my husband, i have PCOS. I have chosen to donate my eggs during this process:
1 - to help others who are in a worse situation than myself, and,
2 - to help fund our IVF treatment.
I just wondered if anyone else has either done the same thing or been the recipient of a donor egg or a child born from egg donation and what your views on this are. Also if you have any stories to share. Thanks

It's such a personal issue - I think you should do what you feel comfortable in doing. I had lots of problems with infertility and had three years of treatments before I was successful and had my first son (now 19) and two years later after two cycles of treatment had twin sons (now 17). While i was going through the treatmens, my husband and I decided that our children would either be genetically to both of ours or neither of ours. So we decided if the ovulation induction didnt work, we would try IVF and if that didn't work we would adopt. That was our personal feeling at the time. But then we were lucky and had success. I might have changed my mind if I'd had to.
I wish you every success and am sprinkling Baby Dust for you.
