I love CSI Miami, but yes sometimes H can be too dramatic, and some scene I can get annoyed with the way he talks. My husband can't stand him, he rather watch CSI Vegas. He keep asking me "why H sometimes always said short sentence, i think he's not a good actor." LOL...but i still love CSI Miami, and the other 2 CSI.

i like H! i think he's awesome :P he seems like such a cool boss, he never seems to get angry at his subordinates, even when they've done something wrong. instead, he's eager to help and give them encouragement and support and back them up. what a great boss hehe.. ^___^

I agree with you. H never raises his voice at anyone. I think that is why I like him. I wish my boss would be more like H. My boss flies off the handle at the slightest thing. Maybe I should get him some sunglasses like Horatio's. Might have a calming effect.

I so don't like him. I call him the sideways man. Ever notice how he never faces the camera, or the person he is speaking to, head on. Or if he does, it's always for a split second. He always has this side ways stance, he stares down at the ground or his sunglasses. Never head on. And then he'll tell one of the other crime people, the experienced one, 'well you better get that up in the lab'. It's like, no really? I'm going to take it home with me. these people didn't start yesterday and it's just annoying.

Yes I agree with you. I never really cared for him... mostly because he is so arrogent (SP) he thinks he is the sh*t. like he is the best there is... Arrogence annoys me to no end... but yet... i cant stop watching the show! I love the show because of all the other charactors though... and because I love suspense-ful shows and movies. JMO

I really don't like the way David Caruso acts. I absolutely hate it. The way he speaks one liners, the way he tilts his head, the way he needs to put on his sunglasses, ugh! I'm sorry for those who doesn't share my opinion, but I don't watch CSI miami that often because of him.

I think that the whole sunglasses thing is because David Caruso is a fair-skinned redhead--- the bright, hot sun of Miami can be hard on the sensitive eyes of a person like him!

I don't really like him, but don't hate him either. It's just that he has this mannerism where he extends his neck and stuff that makes him kinda weird and funny sometimes... heeeheeee.
He was way better in NYPD Blue... i think... lol.

I like H's character. He is confident, direct and he means business. I don't like the body language of the character. The words say one thing but when you add in the cheap antics of cocking your head to the side and snaping off your glasses and saying "I don't know Eric but we are soon going to find out" it gets corney. Just my opionon. But like I said, I like H's character in the series.

I love the character Horatio. My dad hates him. My mother thinks the show is alright. My adult daughter likes him. We love the one-liners at the beginning of the show. We really get to laughing pretty hard about those at times. Sometimes just because they are so ridiculous!

i really dont hate him!!! but its not like i love him either!!!! i think he can exaggerate and over act and his trying to be catwalk moves r old!!! but for the character i think he does a good job he shows he cares way tooo much about each case he is in!!! its more personal than professional, i guess it depends on what would u prefer to watch something more serious and professional like Grissom or emotional Horacio!!!

I don't hate him and I am not fond of "H" either...but CSI:Miami is not complete without him....he is kinda cool in his own way. Maybe he is always posing sideways because it is his best shot.....others may not like him because his character is soft spoken....but he is very effective for his role.

His movements can put people off and he is a little on the dramatic side but I don't think anyone else could play his character but David Caruso. I was irked when they killed off Tim Speedel's character (Speed) but actors move on to bigger and better things.
