For me, cheating is not absolutely wrong. As long as you are willing to face its consequences and that you make sure that you make up for your shortcomings in the future by studying the lessons that you have not studied, it is OK to cheat... As long as you don't get caught.

cheating is one of the temptations in a relationship. this temptation is unavoidable. somehow we do commit it one way or another. sometimes we dont notice that we are exactly cheating. but we have to remember that when one of the partner falls, it is not the job of the other to push him more, rather, the other should try to pull the person out of the mudhole. i guess love is more powerful than hatred or anger.

i dont want to act as a hypocrite here. every student had experience cheating. no student wants to fail, and we cant just force anybody to memorize and understand everything with just one snap. cheating is difficult too. especially when you do youre best not to get caught.

Hello mkcallejo!
In my humble opinion, it's not a healthy phenomenon at all. I think that when someone cheats, he/she is not cheating the system but only him/herself. My philosophy of life says that I shouldn't be having something that I don't deserve or I don't earn as such. By cheating, I am making the chances for non-cheaters lesser to succeed, though I don't believe that it will affect them as such.
When I deserve to fail, I should. Failing is not bad as such. anybody can fail, it will give us a chance to really put in effort needed to get succeed. I am sorry but I really am not comfortable with this idea.

haha, in my class, cheating is just normal, especially in math exams. We, all classmates often cheat and help each other coz we know everyone was having problems with math in our class. No one tells it to teacher because everyone of us were very close to each other.

I don't think that's totally right...if u do cheat, don't get caught but the only reason you should cheat is if you are in a dire situation and you are willing to learn later as you said

There is no reason to cheat. Ever. Hands down, end of discussion.
It's not a matter of facing the consequences or not. When you cheat, you are making up for your own laziness and lack of studious habits by leeching off of the hard work of others. Saying that you will make up for your shortcomings in the future is like saying that's it's fine to murder, as long as you make up for it in the future.

I think I would have to disagree that cheating is OK. The fact that there is the concept of deception it is still unacceptable. Not to mention that it could depict the personality of the person. Cheating seems to be no big deal among students but in reality, you developed the habbit of getting around things easily without sweating and working hard for it.Reality bites!! You have to work hard to develop a sense of fulfillment within yourself. How can you be proud of yourself when you know you never deserved to pass because you cheated. Facing the consequence is no excuse for your to make up for your short comings. Why waste time for the make up when you could have done it the correct way in the first place. Honesty must be valued because you will never know if you will still have the chance to correct your mistakes.
