How old were you when you start chasing dreams (plan for your future)?

I bummed around when i was a teenager and i wasnt serious about anything. I dont know if i'm considered as a "late-bloomer". I could only sense the importance of "living-in-reality", at the age of 21.
I'm taking life seriously now and there are many goals that i wanna achieve.
Sometimes i wish i could turn back the hands of time. If i had started setting my goals at a younger age, i would have more achivements by now.
At what age did you get things straight in your life?

I started to get a good view of how I wanted my future when I was 16, but I didn't really start working towards it until I was 19. Now at 22 I'm living a great life, and I'm well on my way of achieving my goals and fulfilling my dream.
Good luck on your path of life!

Thank you, Sushicook.
There are so many goals that I want to achieve by the age of 30. And then, carry on to target another set of goals after the age of 30.
I'm loving the challenging life.
Good luck to you too!

I thought everything in my life was straight...I was going to go to college this fall for elementary education. I am still going to college but now I want my major to be early childhood education, but I may need to go to a different school for that, and because of that I am very confused!

Hello dopey22girl, since you have the intention to major in childhood education, why don't you just carry on with it? though you have to move into another school for it, im sure you'll be able to adapt to the environment very soon. Good luck.. c",)

when I was in highschool, all my goals were focused on passing all exams I had to take especially the entrance exam for college because it was the first step on becoming like my mother.
yeah.. I wanted to become like my mother but then, there were times I had other goals. I wasn't really fixed on something. I always wanted other things but didn't made any move to pursue them and I just gone with the flow. ^__^;; correct, I'm a happy-go-lucky person and I think I am until now. ^_^;;
although I'm working now, I don't really have concrete plans for myself. I still go with the flow and grab what comes in my way and don't pursue anything. sometimes I wonder if I really have a purpose in life. ^__^;; but I'm sure with one thing, I don't wanna be jobless! LOL the important thing for me now is that I'm earning money and I can support myself. ^__^
so I guess I'm still not serious with life? ^__^;;

I realised I wanted to work for myself and what job I wanted to do when I was about 11.
I started teaching myself to do web programming at 11, a few years later I was making a fair amount of money from making websites. And now 10 years on at 21, I have my own company and make lots of money from doing what I love.
Don't worry I still went out with friends everyday, Its not like I had no friends and stayed in all the time. :)
