What have you learned on mylot?

I have learned a lot since I joined mylot. I don't get the newspaper or even have time to watch the news so I get the scoop on what's going on in the world. I have also gotten good internet links, recipes & just some laughs. I really like mylot.

I have learned a lot about different cultures by being on this site. What is common practice in one part of the world is not common to other people. I find it interesting the way everyone views the same things in really different views. It also allows me to interact with younger people and understand their views on life. We can learn a lot from people we would never have the opportunity to interact with if it weren't for mylot.
