Working mom? Little ones deman your time? Have a job too? So did I. Getting a good education in today's world is manditory to increasing your income. I did while I was married, working 40 hours a week, and had a baby at home; and I got a 4 year degree in only 31/2 years. I don't recommend that you attempt to finish as fast as I did. In fact, if I had it to do over I would have taken a little more time, but, there was a shortage of people in my field of study and it was about to be filled, so I scrambled. Was it good for my family? Well, I'm divorced now, but the college wasn't the reason. Once I finished all the schooling and we had to spend time together we realized that there was no compatibility, so I became a workaholic. Eventually that didn't work either. My child never spent time with a sitter, and I crowded all hours into two days. I was lucky enough to be a bookkeeper and take the books home to do. I never slept during the semester. At the end of the semester my ex- husband would take our child for a day and I would sleep for 30 hours or more.
How should you do it? Always remember, you can never recapture your child's youth. Take your education one class at a time, but go during the summer and take a correspondence course. The change it will make in your future is dramatic
