Hi there.. Yes I do rememebr the first novel that I read, and it was way back while I was in school, probably in the 5th or 6th standard.. And it was Hardy Boys.. I was introduced to it by a frnd of mine.. We had all the series of this novel in our school library, and we used to only issue these books so that we can take them home and read them.. It was real fun then.. I really miss those days...

The first novel (or maybe it is a novella) I remember reading was "A Winkle in Time." Yeah, it was like being in a different world. I loved it.

The first novel that i ever read was entitled "The Surprise Party." It's all about a married couple whom the woman doesn't know that her husband was a serial killer and never thought that on the day of his husband's birthday party, she discovered this all and she was the next victim. The story was really great and it's very exciting!

When I was a kid I used to read a lot of the R.L Stine Fear Street books. I'd say they were probably my first "novel" of sorts. I don't remember which of the R.L stine books I read first though. I used to love those books though. When the first Harry Potter book came out I was hardly a kid at 16. I do remember reading Harry Potter though, but by then I'd read tons of Novels.

i don't really remember the first book i've read. i've been reading since i was in grade 2 or 3, never really one to play during lunch breaks. my guess is it's a sweet valley twins or kids book. but i've been exposed to books prior to that. but mostly they were read to me by my father.

I used to do so much reading as a child, I really can not remember the very first book I read...
I do remember the first time I read Harry Potter though, my grandma sent me it as a birthday present, she said it was quite a good read. I absolutely loved it!
I also remember when I was 9-10 years old I really enjoyed reading Lord of the Rings (and the Hobbit).
Also I was a big fan of deltora quest, and "The Adventure Series" by Willard Price. Also Redwall, and all the "horrible" books (history, geography, science, maths read them all)... and quite a lot more, haha...
I loved going on journeys with the characters in the books, letting my imagination run wild, and being able to go back to that fantasy world by simply picking up the book and reading it.
